New Witcher CO-OP Mod Developments Restarted

In PC games, The Witcher series is a popular action role-playing game (RPG) series developed by CD Projekt Red, a Polish video game developer. Game and Series is based on the fantasy book series by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski revolving around the adventures of Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster hunter known as The Witcher.

The news of the redevelopment of the mod, known as Project Sirius, is a project directly related to the Witcher series, and the news for this project came directly from CD Projekt Red. Announced in October 2022, Project Sirius is a different take on the Witcher universe. Based on the job postings from the studio, it is thought that the game will be full of popular mechanics. These can include action-based combat, straight-forward-generated areas, and lots of simultaneous gameplay.

Little is known about Project Sirius, except that it is a spin-off of The Witcher series designed to be released alongside a series of new Witcher games from CD Projekt itself. Providing further information to investors, CD Projekt stated that this is a statement stemming from its reassessment of "the scope and commercial potential of Project Sirius' original concept, its ongoing work to formulate a new framework for this project."
